I recommend bringing your own lunch to eat closer to the lake and enjoy the views, because the restaurant services there take a lot of time, and considering you only get less than one hour free time at the lake it's not worth…”

“We looked forward to the day in Haltstatt. The rain was constant, which keep the crowd down. Trip was supposed to take 2.5 hours but took 3.75. Driver is NOT a guide, but supposed to provide their extensive knowledge of the area, which was none. Major disconnect between tour operator, company providing the driver, and the driver himself - as driver didn't know what the tour was about. Coming back into Germany we luckily had our passports, as they were required. But the driver didn't have his! Made for am interesting time. But luckily the border police allowed him in. Now on behalf of the tour operator, they did try…”

“We were treated as VIPs by Sepp from beginning to end. We went to Lake Koningsee and Eagle’s nest on the first day as the weather was great. We went to Neuchwanstein and Linderhof the second day. Nothing was too much trouble and we had lovely lunches, drinks and pastries provided and a very comfortable luxury minivan. Sepp altered the itinerary to allow us to visit other towns as well. He was so much fun throughout, took amazing pictures of us throughout and we had a fantastic time. Could not have been better.”

“Language barrier and the driver is not that accommodating and not well knowledgeable about our questions, he just tell the direction where to go. I have booked a lot of tour on this app. So I know well the difference. He said he is not a tour guide and we understood that. At the end of the day what matters most is we are all safe to get home. He was on time when he picked us up. Thanks to the driver Stuart. We paid almost $1000 for me and my husband for this private trip. We think it’s too expensive. Hallstat is beautiful. Austria is awesome! It’s worth visiting.…”
