“We looked forward to the day in Haltstatt. The rain was constant, which keep the crowd down. Trip was supposed to take 2.5 hours but took 3.75. Driver is NOT a guide, but supposed to provide their extensive knowledge of the area, which was none. Major disconnect between tour operator, company providing the driver, and the driver himself - as driver didn't know what the tour was about. Coming back into Germany we luckily had our passports, as they were required. But the driver didn't have his! Made for am interesting time. But luckily the border police allowed him in.
